Several application types that were previously unlisted or combined under a single line item now warrant separate fee structures to better reflect the scope of staff review Staff conducted a benchmarking review comparing Liberty Hill's planning fees against peer Central Texas municipalities, including Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville, and Round Rock. That review found Liberty Hill's fees to be below the range charged by comparable cities across several key application categories. The proposed fee schedule updates reflect both cost-of-service considerations and alignment with peer city rates. Proposed Updates The proposed fee schedule for FY 2026–2027 includes the following categories of New application types — Application types not previously listed in the fee schedule have been added to reflect current development review procedures and service New standalone application types — Several application types previously combined under a single line item have been separated into distinct entries to better reflect differences in review scope and staff time.
