Old Town Master Plan Advisory Committee — Cibolo

" \n BACKGROUND: \n The project consultant, Lionheart Places, prepared the first draft of the Old Town Plan based on feedback received thoughout the public engagement process. The draft plan includes an assessment of existing conditions, highlights community engagement efforts, and outlines implementation strategies related to parking, drainage, a community gathering place, neighborhood preservation, development standards, pedestrian safety, economic development, and infrastructure. A copy of the draft plan is attached herein. \n The purpose of this agenda item is to discuss the draft plan and request feedback from the advisory committee to incorporate into the final plan document. \n \n NEXT STEPS: \n Following input from the advisory committee, the Old Town Plan will be uploaded to the project website for public review and comment. The plan is tentatively scheduled to be presented to the Cibolo Economic Development Corporation at its May 21, 2026, meeting for a recommendation, and then to the City Council at its June 9, 2026, meeting for consideration of adoption. \n Lionheart will compile comments received throughout the review process leading up to final consideration by City Council. \n \n MOTION(S): \n If acceptable to the advisory committee, the following is a sample motion: \n \"I move to recommend approval of the Old Town Plan.\" \n \n \n \n "
